These are BIG numbers. The domino effect would not be good if any one of these countries would default on their debts.

Fed to Keep Rates Low Until 2014

It's official! We will not see "normalized rates" anytime soon.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The economy is improving, the Federal Reserve said Wednesday, but not enough to warrant higher interest rates for at least two-and-a-half more years.

The central bank indicated that it expects to keep the federal funds rate near historic lows until late 2014 -- an extension from the Fed's original pledge to keep rates low through mid 2013.

"[T]he economy has been expanding moderately, notwithstanding some slowing in global growth," the Fed said in a statement Wednesday. Meanwhile, the program known as Operation Twist remains in place.

Rich, Gingrich, Crazy Rich

How will American voters react to this information? As politicians attempt to convince the average American citizen that "they feel their pain", the raw numbers suggest otherwise. It will be increasingly difficult for Gingrich and Romney to utilize this strategy going forward.

I'm Back!

The original purpose of this blog was to document the massive wave of problems that were largely unrecognized by the majority of Financial Advisors and Economists. I posted numerous articles over the years that highlighted these problems and I hope that they were beneficial in understanding the outcomes that followed.

Once the market crashed in 2007-2008, I felt that my job was largely done and that there wasn't a reason to continue posting. As we have seen recently, the problems are largely still looming with the debt crisis in Europe still causing investors to be increasingly nervous about the markets.

I have decided to begin posting again to try and bring fresh and timely information about what is really going on in the economy.

I'm happy to be back!
